This was my first time going to a Stew Leonard’s. I saw videos of the chain online and wanted to check it out since I happened to stumble onto this one. Based on what I have seen in those videos of the other locations I’m assuming this location isn’t typical. The food looked fresh and the prices were pretty good but the animatronics looked a little rough. The Avocados were slightly out of sync, the Tree had noticeable tears in its mask and it sounded like the band had a bit of a hydraulic leak or something since there was a somewhat noticeable hiss wile they were playing. Among other technical issues. This place is really cool, Kinda reminds me of Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati. I just think some of the animatronics could use a couple repairs.

This place holds such a special place in our hearts. I spent so many weekends of my childhood visiting Stew Leonard’s, and those trips are some of my favorite memories. Now we get to pass that joy down to our children, and it feels even more magical witnessing it through their eyes. Every Saturday we’re in CT, our kids can’t wait to go. It’s honestly one of the highlights of our visit. The seafood is always so fresh, the quality is unbeatable and the clams and lobster rolls are delicious! The staff are just wonderful, so warm and friendly. The free samples are always a hit with the kids too. You can tell they truly care about making your visit exceptional. The kids light up when they get to press all the buttons and watch the puppets sing — their little faces are pure joy, and it melts our hearts every time. Make sure to get the soft serve ice cream dipped in butter on your way out - oh my goodness, it’s heavenly! We’re so grateful for places like this that bring families together with good food and genuine smiles. If you’re in the area, please go — it’s more than a store, it’s happy memories in the making. We love it so much!

The food is always fresh. The fruit bowls and salads look amazing. Fruit is a little too steep for me at $35. Salads I am not a fan of blue cheese nor onions so not for me but looks fresh. I do like the idea of glass bottle for milk and oj in glass bottles but the $3 deposit seems a bit much. Maybe it’s just me. The one thing that stood out is the crab cakes. Whenever we go out crab cakes are one thing a person in the party orders. I tell him they are frozen and fried. These were not. I got them and he cooked by himself in the oven, he shared with friends and they loved them. Much better than frozen crab cakes!

Every trip to Connecticut or Yonkers I have to stop by Stew's. It's a family tradition and they have some of the best in store made food products around. I love to grab a Hot Pastrami Sub whenever I can get there in time and there are some left. They go fast! When it comes to good food, we always said, "You name it, Stew's has it!"

Always a fun shopping experience at another Stew. This one has a bank and also pharmacy in the same “mall” area with shared parking. Good is fresh and staff is polite. Grounds are kept clean. I do wish the buffet station here was a bit bigger and it may be time to switch out some of the rusting shopping cart. But all in all, a great grocery experience.
